No one told me that they were more work as adults? Why didn’t anyone share that? I love my children with all my heart, but the job is NOT done when they leave the house. Here’s to all the moms who are still on duty🍷

In some ways I feel like I worry about them more the older they get. Instead of sharing the blocks, they have to share the road…..with a bunch of crazy people. Their teachers don’t check in unless required or there’s a serious problem. (And let’s face it, if there’s a SERIOUS problem at this age it’s not just a note home or a quick phone call….it’s a SERIOUS repercussion!) They daily deal with things that in some ways are similar to what we dealt with but in some ways are very much different. I guess all we can do is “Let go & Let God”. Hope and pray that we have given them enough tools to become a successful, contributing adult.

Let’s not even talk about the judging. “Well what kind of parent did that kids have if he/she is doing that?!?!”

Because we all know it must be mom’s fault.😉 As if majority of mom’s don’t spend hours/months/weeks/years worrying how they are screwing up their kids??!?!
